Elad Shniderman & Maya Resheff
Music
Tuning is choreography and sound piece, a product of the interaction between sound and movement in a space charged with radio frequencies. The dancer wears a radio with speakers, receiving frequencies from several transmissions simultaneously and playing them back directly from her body. The transmissions scattered within the space each broadcast a different signal, but at the same frequency, resulting in a kind of sonorous counterpoint that constantly changes as the dancer moves in space. The piece was originally created for the event "Composer - Choreographer" at the Teiva Festival in Jaffa last December.
Participants: Elad Shniderman - sound; Maya-Resheff - movement
