A tribute to experiments from the ‘60s that attempted to bring the sense of smell to the cinema experience as well as a tribute to the traditional role of the “Foley”, which uses unconventional materials behind the scenes to provide sound effects for films from the ‘20s and up to the present day.
Students from the Department of New Media at Musrara add an electronic system of smells and sounds to classic scenes from films, resulting in an extraordinary cinematic experience and an inspiration for creating innovative sensory works.
